A dear friend summed it up perfectly in a profound text the other day as she answered my question on the mixed emotions I have about wanting a city life. She said “you are a city girl who finds her moments of silence while the world buzzes around you.”
I haven’t been able to get this out of mind. She knows me so well. This has got me thinking and reflecting on what excites me about the city and why I’m so grounded in the silence. My yin and my yang.
