This has been the focus of my intention the entire month of March in and out of Chicago, Montvale, Indianapolis and West Palm Beach for business and pleasure, in and out of business meetings, on and off the yoga mat.

For me, clarity keeps me focused on my professional and personal goals. It’s easy to get caught up in all the little things we do to wanting to affect change however having clear expectations on priority projects is crucial for managing time effectively. Can you define your top three business priorities for the week? What tasks, imperatives and initiatives are associated with these priorities? Is there a timeline for getting them done? What about everything else? Is there a way to eliminate anything not serving you and your companies goals?
These same principles can be applied for your personal growth. Can you clearly define your top three personal priorities for the week? What can you do to achieve or move these along? Is there a way to eliminate anything not serving your personal vital needs?
Clarity helps. Writing things down helps.
For me, confidence keeps me going if I ever feel like doubting my own abilities. Confidence is knowing my craft, continuing to improve and staying strong in my convictions. Confidence is sexy. Confidence is humble. As a servant leader, confidence gives me the voice to help empower and educate others.
My definition of success lies in how I can balance my professional life with my personal world. Work hard. Play hard. Focus. Rest. Rejuvenate. Enjoy the Climb!
May each of you reading this today find your own Clarity and Confidence to Shine as I listen to a beautiful musical set and reflect on “I’ve been Searching for a Heart of Gold.”
